Time is So Important don’t Waste it — Day 160

It’s been pretty cloudy for the past few days, but I’m still grateful for the opportunity to do what I do every morning. I’m in good health and good spirits, and things are only looking up from here. Everything I do has a sort of heightened purpose–I’ve gradually been living with a greater sense of urgency and responsibility. If you don’t do even a small thing the right way, then what’s to say you won’t cut corners on more important endeavours? It’s vital to not let up even for a moment.

Later on in the day, I took my kids out to get ice cream since they were doing well in school, and they graciously helped me out with some chores when we got back. I had some music on, and I suddenly got the urge to dance. While I didn’t want to embarrass myself in front of my kids, for the first time in a while I actually felt capable of acting on that urge! I don’t see myself actually dancing anytime soon, but it’s good to know that my lifestyle has granted me the freedom to do more with my body if I so, please.

Even a slightly noticeable improvement is a huge win in my book.

I felt a lot more like my usual self during tonight’s workout, and that put me in a really good mood. I also decided to work on my book for a while afterwards. No inspiration was coming to me at first, but I just started to write whatever came to mind and eventually I stumbled upon some good ideas. Much like with a fitness routine, good things will come if you just stick with what you’re doing. No matter what you’re engaged in, persistence always pays off.
