What You Know About Body Transformation And What You Don’t Know About Body Transformation — Day 99
I woke up a bit sore this morning, but I still decided to go on a contemplative jog. Life can be busy and hectic at times, so it’s important to squeeze in as much peace and quiet as you can. In particular, I found myself very attuned to all the natural and ambient noise, from my own footsteps to the birds chirping, to the wind blowing the trees. As much as I love listening to music, sometimes it’s good to just hear the sounds of the world as you jog.
I’ve been keeping up with my habit of walking and jogging to get around, and I must say that it’s been paying off pretty well. I feel more empowered and confident in my own abilities as a human being, and of course it’s helped me lose weight along the way. I even considered walking all the way to work this morning, but that would have been a bit too much for me at the moment. At least that’s a goal a can set for myself in the future, no matter how maniacal it may seem!

Sometimes I like to imagine that I’m peeling back layers of fat and unhealthy living to free who I really am inside. Visualization can be a powerful tool.
After tonight’s dinner and workout, I opted to see a movie with my family. It was actually quite a challenge to not eat any of my kid’s snacks, since I’m so accustomed to snacking while I watch things. I guess this serves as a reminder that eliminating mindless eating is one of the key aspects of weight loss. I don’t even want to think of how much I used to add to my waistline by munching on junk food in front of the T.V.!
