365 Day Weight Loss Challenge For A Dramatic Body — Day 56

I slept in this morning, mainly because my kids were bugging the heck out of me last night, but also because I’m trying to schedule out my rest days. I’m lifting a lot heavier now than when I first started, so I need to be cautious in order to avoid any injuries. My near-disaster with the bench the other day has reminded me of the importance of safety and being proactive.

Day off was actually pretty fun today, which was a nice surprise. It was one of my mates birthday today, and we had a little celebration during our afternoon. It was nice to see everyone in good spirits, and I think that kept me motivated for the rest of the day. There was some delicious-looking cake, but luckily it was reserved for my know older-by-one-year buddy.

In other news, I planned a replacement bench, and it should be arriving in a few days, I have decided to invest some cash. With my equipment situation settled, I was able to confidently get a superb workout in. I tried another protein shake after I finished–this time with lots of vegetables mixed in–but I didn’t really like it. I’m going to get back to the exercises that have been working for me, but I’m also going to keep some of the new ones in my routine. It’s good to keep things fresh, but switching up exercises every now and then also works the muscles harder.

Week Eight Body Weight Reveal

I have taken this at the same time of the day, with just underwear on as I did on previous weigh ins.

Conditions

  1. First thing in the morning
  2. After passing urine
  3. Underwear only
  4. Same Digital Scales

200 grams I almost cannot believe it I am feeling much better. I was convinced was going to hit a kilo, but 200 grams I mean it’s lost but for a week’s work is a little disheartening.
