A Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body is the Key to Success — Day 30

I’m now officially thirty days into this journey, and I can confidently say that I am very proud of my results thus far. I’m eating better, working better, and, most importantly, I’m living better. It feels like it won’t be too much longer until I’m able to fit back into my old jeans again.

One cool thing I’ve noticed is how exercise has become an essential part of my day-to-day life, so much so that it feels like I’m missing out if I don’t partake in it. It’s almost as if I no longer consider exercise to be a chore–now it’s an enjoyable part of the day. I’m definitely looking forward to future workouts if this is how they’re going to make me feel. I can’t recall ever looking forward to getting sore and sweaty this much!

While still quite fat, I am feeling better in my clothes and in myself.

I also feel a lot more focused at work, and this is no doubt because of the regimen. My body feels a lot better, but I think I owe this newfound focus to my improved overall mindset. For one, I’m a lot more thoughtful and appreciative of the little things than I was in the past. I’m value food as a nurturing substance, I’m incredibly grateful for my family and friends, I’m lucky to have a roof over my head, and I’m extremely privileged to be alive and healthy (hopefully a lot healthier down the line!).

Let’s see what changes the next thirty days will bring. I’m really excited to find out for myself.

Geo Life Meal Plan for Day 30

The meal planning is becoming second nature, and with the reduced alcohol and fast food intake, while my initial shopping was costing more, the end of the week I am finding I have a few extra dollars in my bank account which is great. Don’t get me wrong still skint but just a little less skint.

Daily Exercise Planner Day 30 Geo Life Year of Change

Decided to give my body a rest today and just undertake my run and very light exercise. I actually missed it, however shoulders, back and lower back are tweaking a little.
