I went out for another jog this morning, and along the way, I decided to only work out once per day. Occasional days with two workouts have been good for me thus far, but I think that focusing on a single muscle group will be more effective (and also leave me less sore). Besides, I’ll have more energy to push myself if I just go hard once a day. I still plan on going on morning jogs, but I’m not going to be pumping any iron or getting all sweaty first thing in the morning.

Nothing too crazy happened today. There seemed to be a little party with my wife’s mates over complete with appetizers and desserts, but I promise that I only considered eating some for a moment. I don’t think I’ll ever get over my love for sweets, but I’m able to promptly quell any cravings that arise during the workday for sure. If I can’t for some reason, I can always snack on a granola bar.

For this evening’s workout, I really tried to ramp up the intensity, especially considering how I’m only exercising once per day now. I’m so used to this routine now that I might have too much leftover energy if I don’t work hard enough. I don’t want to endure another episode caused by a lack of sleep–it’s hard enough to fall asleep when you have two kids bouncing around the house.

I can see see the flab clearly, but my cloths are fitting better, long road to go but its sustainable and evidence based.

I’m going to miss the early morning workouts, but this is honestly the most fitting option for my schedule. More than anything though, I’m excited about how much more efficient I’ll be after making this adjustment.

Went hard today, my change is only small as mostly jog in the morning and exercise in the evening, but I am now almost formalizing it, well at least until I have a better idea.

Day 48 of the Year of Change Wrap Up

Feeling really good, great day, good exercise going step up more tomorrow, meals are now second nature and healthy living also natural now for me.
