How to Overcome Body Shame — Day 52
I was absolutely exhausted this morning, so much so that had to nearly inhale my breakfast to make it to work on time. I rarely oversleep, and I went to bed at a decent hour last night, so hopefully this was just a one-time thing.
After this morning’s little fiasco, I decided that I was going to try meditation again at work today. I was able to concentrate a bit longer this time, but it was still just for over the usual 10 minutes minute. I’m not 100 per cent sure what kind of benefits this will bring to my lifestyle, but I think I’ll make this a daily thing, at least for experimental purposes.
I tried drinking a homemade protein shake before working out this evening, and I think that helped give me some much-needed energy. I did all of my exercises with a ton of intensity, and was really proud of how well I was able to rebound from my slow start today. Although, I will admit that drinking that protein shake got me craving something sweet and chocolate-y. It was nothing that a trusty granola bar couldn’t fix.

Feeling happy with the progress, feeling less fat which is great, not thin but less fat.
I’m going to set a bunch of alarms for tomorrow so I don’t oversleep again, though I’m almost certain that won’t be necessary. I’m so used to my routine now that I’ll probably wake up first thing, raring for action.

The heavier weight and the HIIT are challenging me for sure, I need to up regulate my weight as not I am better and technique need to build muscle.
